Wizkid (Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, born July 16th, 1990) is a Nigerian singer and songwriter, better known by his stage name Wizkid. Formed the Glorious Five band with a few of his church buddies when they were just 11 years old, and they issued a joint CD at the same time. Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) signed Wizkid to a record deal in 2009. (E.M.E). The lead single from his debut studio album Superstar (2011), which also included the singles “Tease Me/Bad Guys” and “Don’t Dull,” catapulted him to fame afterwards.
