Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, professionally known as Bella Shmurda, is a Nigerian singer. Bella Shurmda showed early signs of interest in music at a young age. He later began freestyling and uploaded his freestyle videos on social media.

Bella Shmurda shot to limelight in 2019 when he remixed his debut single ‘Vision 2020’ and had Olamide jump on the remix. The song was originally released in 2018 but didn’t receive much publicity. Since his getting his break, Bella has gone on to release more hits including the chart-topping tune, Cashapp featuring Zlatan.

In 2020, Bella Shmurda won the awards “Next Rated Male” and “Street Music of the Year” at the City People Entertainment Awards, he was also nominated for “Revelation of the Year” award in the same year. In 2021, Bella Shmurda was nominated for the “Next Rated” award at the Headies Awards. His hit single, “Cash App” featuring Zlatan and Lincoln was also nominated for “Most Played Song – Street Pop” at the NET Honours.
